1. Information We Process

Fleetrix is intended for company-authorized users. To provide core app functionality, the following categories of data may be processed:

• Account and profile data: Username, name, email, phone number, company, role, and related account attributes returned by your company Fleetrix server.
• Authentication data: Login credentials and session tokens used to authenticate access.
• Fleet operations data: Vehicle details, mileage entries, checklist submissions, maintenance records, and reports that you create or view in the app.
• Company configuration data: Company code and company API endpoint configuration used to connect the app to the relevant backend.

2. Camera and OCR Usage

Fleetrix may request camera access to help users read odometer values.

• Camera images are processed on-device for text recognition (OCR) to suggest a mileage value.
• The app uses OCR to detect numeric readings and allows users to confirm or edit values before saving.
• We do not upload raw camera photos to Globevik through this flow.

3. App Permissions

Fleetrix requests the following permissions on Android:

• Internet: Required to securely communicate with your company Fleetrix backend APIs.
• Camera: Required for optional odometer scanning and meter-reading assistance.

4. How Data Is Stored

• On your device: Certain app settings and session-related information are stored locally (for example, company code, base URL, onboarding state, and cached account data).
• Secure local storage: Authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage mechanisms.
• On backend servers: Operational records you submit (such as mileage, checklist, and maintenance data) are transmitted to and stored by your company Fleetrix backend.

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Fleetrix may rely on third-party libraries and platform services to operate, including:

• Google Play Services: Platform-level services that may process diagnostics according to your device and Google settings.
• Google ML Kit Text Recognition: Used for on-device OCR functionality.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data entered in Fleetrix is used for fleet operations and may be accessible to authorized users within your organization (for example, admins, managers, and finance roles), based on role permissions configured in your company system.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local app data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
• Backend operational records are retained according to your organization's Fleetrix backend policies.
• To request correction or deletion of backend account/operational data, contact your organization's Fleetrix administrator or contact us.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is fully secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Fleetrix is a business application and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
